Fiji Fiji is a small island nation almost due north of New Zealand. The southern coast of the main island, Viti Levu, is open to the rich waters of the South Pacific so it naturally attracts lots of fish. These fish, in turn, attract larger fish, and Fiji become a great place to view some of natures largest predators, sharks.
Tahiti Tahiti has a reputation of being the quintessential Pacific island. Its main attraction for us, though, is the marine life surrounding each of the islands, specifically its shark population.
Galapagos The Galapagos Islands lie on the equator nearly 700 miles off the coast of Ecuador. They are justifiably famous, but divers go there to see big animals and these animals hang out around the two remote unpopulated islands of Wolf and Darwin, a 12-hour boat ride due north.
